The National Worship Leader Conference in Austin last week

I was in Austin last week for Worship Leader Magazine's National Worship Leader Conference - it was great! WL had a great lineup of speakers such as Len Sweet, Scotty Smith, and others, as well as great worship leaders like my friend Paul Baloche, Fernando Ortega, and Chris Tomlin. The breakout classes were strong - Tomlin on songwriting, etc. I taught on healing worship (Broken & Beautiful) and had overflowing classes - we live in a fallen world and even Christians need healing! I also taught on Engaging Teams for Smaller Churches - did you know the majority of churches in America are less than 100 people?

I loved reconnecting last week with a lot of great friends at WL and from Nashville. The conference more than doubled from last year, so mark your calendars for next year!

WLC was awesome again this year. I loved both of your workshops, and wish they had been longer. I've talked to several people about your small church workshop, and wish they could have been there. Do you have any webinars coming up soon or anything where they could get in on it too?

I will be doing more webinars for Worship Leader Magazine this fall - be sure to watch for them October through December. Also, we are preparing for a launch of our new resource site at DOXA360.com in September and will be offering lots of worship content there, too!
